The location is excellent, a true ski in ski out location, the ski valet people are terrific.
The building needs some repairs and updating, the pool and hot tub area is not up to Westin standards, there is no "Locker Room" or "changing area" when you get out of pool or hot tub, you dry off in the hall way!! The restaurant and house keeping staff need some training and additional members to keep up with customer demand during peak times.

The hospitality was terrible.
After check-in time, many rooms were not ready yet. House keeping quality was poor. The number of the towels were less than us everyday. (House keeping stuff don’t know how many are staying, they explained with no doubt.)
The heating is not strong enough (lower than 68F) but they didn’t tell us until we complained about it although they had the heater prepared for that case.

The property and location were great. The access to the mountain and the ski valet service was top notch. The service in the hotel was horrible. They were either under staffed, or just bad at their jobs. I would never stay here again based on our experience.

Things I liked:
•Ski Valet
•Hotel Lobby
•Immediate access to ski slope
•The Ranger Station
•Outdoor gas fires
•Kids loved the pool
•Concierge helping with luggage and skis

Things I didn't like:
•The bed. Hardest, most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in.
•Rock-hard pillows
•Hot tub wasn't hot enough
•Pool deck was icy all the time
•Breakfast not included
•No tylenol available for purchase (every hotel has this along with other
basic travel items)
•No free parking (I opted for valet, but there should be a free

I like the resort overall, but for the money the value isn't quite there. It lacked basic conveniences that nicer and less expensive properties provide.

Property is great and the staff are all very helpful. I'd give the property a 9. The restaurant is another story, it's a 1. We waited an hour for our food, no drink order was ever taken, the food was not what we ordered and we were billed for food we didn't receive, then it took 20 minutes to run the credit card. Great place to stay, but eat somewhere else!

I stayed in a standard room and it was definitely the most beautiful standard room I have ever stayed in. The room was clean (the sheets and towels were actually clean unlike many places that don't change their sheets after guests leave...). The shower was easy to use and overall the room was really modern and beautiful. I will definitely come back and stay at Westin again.

The hotel was nice. Rooms clean. All staff pleasant and helpful! Parking was free...a bit offsite but very doable. Very convenient to the free local shuttles to get about the village! It was nice bing so close to mall for shopping!

This property is the most convenient in Snowmass. The ski valet is literally steps from the slopes. They have your skis out and bring you your boots every morning. There are plenty of dining choices in the village adjacent. There is a Starbucks beside the ski Valet and the New Belgium Ranger Station is a great lunch stop also slopeside. They have a
great Apres ski scene in the afternoons. This was our second trip to the Westin we loved it so.

When booking a relatively expensive hotel room with a reputable name you would think that you would receive good to great service with nice accommodations. Unfortunately we did not experience any of the above. The only real plus was the fact that it was ski and ski out and ultra convenient with a ski valet downstairs. For the price I would not recommend it..

we stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our engagement and upon learning this the front desk staff upgraded our room to a sweet suite. it's clean, updated, comfortable, and located in a perfect location on snowmass mountain overlooking the slopes and right on the mall. all the food
and drink options were good, pricey, but it's aspen. shuttle services ran often and consistently to aspen and the other mountains...it was all good.

Property Review: Unfortunately, the Westin thought it would be appropriate to remodel their property with guests in house. They tore out the carpet in our entire wing and patched floors . Leaving tack strip exposed. We had children with us that we try to get free of any toxic chemicals and voc's . This was impossible and they had no where they could move us. We were virtually stuck in an unsafe construction zone that lasted our entire stay. Very disappointing.

The first room we were given overlooked part of the mechanical area of the hotel and the noise of the fans was a bit loud when we opened our balcony door to enjoy the evening. We requested a different from from the front desk and Mark told us he would have our experience do a 180 the next day. Boy, did it ever! We were upgraded to the top floor suite/rooftop deck room and it was fabulous! Incredible views of Snowmass Valley and lifts and peaceful - could not have been more perfect. He even picked up our breakfast. Thank you Mark - we <3 you and the hotel!

This property was very nice. The room was nicely appointed and comfortable. The bed was a bit hard for my tastes. The best part of this hotel is its location to the Mall and the slopes. The ski valet was an excellent service and the concierge was very helpful. The proximity to the village gondola and the slopes is unrivaled.

The hotel did charge me a rather large sum of money that no one at the front desk seemed to be able to explain. After three people, someone was finally able to give me a partial answer. This would be my only complaint. They told me it had to do with an in house audit. I don't feel that should affect my bank account though.
