We had a great stay at the Laurelwood. Service was great. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Room was as described and fit our needs. A bit tight, but we were there to ski not to hang out in room. Lack of place to hang/place ski clothes but we managed. Only item that could have been better was the bed sheets. Sheets were worn and pilled, but clean. Rest of linens (towels etc...) were new and nice. Beds were comfy. We would stay at the Laurelwood again. Snowmass/Aspen is great for all levels of skiers and families. Everyone (from drivers to wait staff) was super friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend in July 2010 and were pleased with the unit. We had stayed at the Laurelwood 25 years ago when we first learned to ski and had not been back since. We were pleasantly surprised at the updates that had been made to the building and the unit we rented. The bed was comfortable and the funishings were newer and very nice. My only complaint is that the kitchen was not well stocked for cooking. The kitchen itself was nice but the pots and pans were very old and worn, the coffee pot was ancient, the knifes were not sharp enough to cut anything and the table service was old and mismatched. If you don't want to cook it is no problem but if you are a foodie who plans on cooking bring a couple of your own pans, knifes, salt, pepper and wine glasses. Also if you want to grill bring some charcoal. There are grills on every deck but they are not gas. Other than the kitchen supplies the unit exceeded out expectations and the staff were very helpful.

My son and stayed at a studio on the top floor in the back. We loved the place. Great view of the slopes. Ski-in-ski-out location was great: it's 20 feet from the ski racks to the slopes. Apres ski, it's only a short walk to the Snowmass mall. Interior size/layout was perfect for two people. We liked the style of our lodging: not fussy, wood ceiling beams, stone fireplace, natural wood trim.

Our unit was clean, and we appreciated the daily housekeeping service to help keep it that way. Also, the front desk was very helpful.

We'll be back.

Overall the place was perfect for my partner and myself. Value for money was big for us and this place did not disappoint. Ski in and Ski out was fantastic so we could take lunch breaks in our room and ability to just take off the boots and relax. The ammenities were great value again we were not looking for over priced luxury as we were here to ski. Would definitely stay again!!!

We came to Snowmass to do one thing. Ski. Our unit at the Laurelwood served our purpose. Our unit had not seen much TLC, but we did not need luxury accomodations. The ability to have lunch in the condo was great. It is a cost saver and it is great to take off the ski boots for a few minutes. Two minor complaints. The maid service could have been a bit better and our TV's remote stopped working and the maintenence folks could not get it working again. No big deal. We watched less TV and read more. We will be back. Thanks.

We just returned from our stay at Laurelwood. We had a "deluxe" room that had half of closet door off the hinges and located in another closet, the partition between the bedroom and other area broken in half and a portion missing, a bed that was lumpy with a badly faded bed spread, stained carpet, mildew on the bathroom grout, broken floor tile, television remote that only worked to raise the channel and an office person who couldn't care less. The cleaning lady did a good job but this should never be rented out in the shape it was in.

The Laurelwood was located right on the slopes and the rooms (we booked a deluxe and a premier) were very well appointed and looked recently updated. The only downside would be the limited cooking supplies in the rooms (few pots/pans and dishes)...but that is what going out to eat is for! The staff was very helpful and the short walk to the mall was easy.
