Ashcroft Snowshoe Tour
Discover the Castle Creek Valley on this half day tour. Naturalists share expertise on tracking animals, observing birds, and studying the sub-alpine community. Tour includes spectacular views, the historic ghost town of Ashcroft, a gourmet lunch, snowshoe rental, and Ashcroft trail pass. Snowmass Mountain Skiing Tour
Drop in at the Wapiti Wildlife Center at the top of Elk Camp lift and ski a run with a naturalist at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily. Learn about wildlife in winter, avalanches and more. Tours require a minimum age of seven years and intermediate skiing ability. No reservations necessary. Wapiti Wildlife Center and warming hut is open to the public daily.
